Where your environment runs
Your environment runs on the infrastructure of Sarenet, a telecommunications
and cloud services operator with data centers in Spain and information
security certification. Both compute and storage stay within Spain.
The associated object storage —for example, the destination for backups— runs
on the same provider. See
Sub-processors.
Data sovereignty
Your data and its backups stay in Spain. They are not transferred out
of Spain as part of the service's normal operation. Details in
Data residency.
Professional-grade data centers
The data centers underpinning the platform offer the guarantees expected of
professional hosting:
- Physical security: controlled access, surveillance and access
logging.
- Power and cooling redundancy.
- Redundant connectivity.
The operation and physical certification of the facilities are the
responsibility of the infrastructure provider, which specializes in it.
Managed capacity
You don't need to size servers. The platform's compute and storage
capacity is provisioned and adjusted in a managed way: we watch your
environment's consumption and expand its resources when activity calls for
it, within the limits agreed for your service and normally with no service
interruption; if an expansion requires restarting a component, we tell you
beforehand.
